After you've added your API key and claimed your show, there's one last thing to take care of before you can start publishing video episodes: making sure your show is video-ready on Apple's side.
Why this step exists
Apple doesn't automatically enable HLS video for every show. They're rolling it out gradually, which means that even with your key in place and the show claimed, video delivery has to be explicitly turned on for your show before it'll work end-to-end.

Request video enablement
You can request it yourself directly from Apple. In Apple Podcasts Connect, open the Contact Us form and select HLS Video as the topic. Submit the request and Apple's team will review it. They'll enable eligible shows on a rolling basis, there's nothing complicated to fill in beyond identifying your show.
How you'll know it's done
Once Apple approves the request, your Apple Podcasts Connect section inside RSS.com will turn green and display "Enabled." That's your green light. From that moment on, video episodes you publish from RSS.com will be delivered to Apple Podcasts as HLS video alongside your audio, and your existing followers, downloads, and chart positions carry over without interruption.

What's next
With video enabled, you can start adding video to your episodes from your RSS.com dashboard. Your audience can switch between audio and video mid-episode on Apple Podcasts.
