This article explains what happens to your PAID earnings if you disable PAID, cancel your RSS.com subscription, delete or redirect your podcast, or delete your account.
TL;DR: If you have money owed, we keep sending payouts to your PayPal until your balance reaches zero. The only exception is account deletion: because of GDPR we must erase your payout details, so contact support first to get paid out in full.
? To better understand this article, make sure you're familiar with the difference between Estimated and Available balance, and how payouts work.
You disable PAID on a podcast
You can disable PAID at any time.
If you have any remaining balance (available or estimated), we will continue paying it out to your PayPal email until it reaches $0.
After disabling PAID, the podcast dashboard will only show the earnings section so you can track payouts until the balance is settled.
If you have no balance (neither available nor estimated), PAID will disable normally and no further payouts are sent.
You can learn more about disabling PAID here.
You delete or redirect your podcast
If you delete or redirect the podcast, and there is available or estimated balance, we will continue paying it out to your PayPal email until it reaches $0.
Because the podcast is gone or redirected, the PAID UI will no longer be visible, so you will not see upcoming payouts in your dashboard.
We will email you when the remaining balance has been fully paid.
You cancel your RSS.com subscription
If PAID is active, it will automatically turn off at the end of your billing cycle.
Any remaining balance will continue to be paid to your PayPal email until fully settled. You will receive an email when this is completed.
You delete your RSS.com account
Due to GDPR, account deletion permanently erases all your data, including the PayPal email used for payouts. Because of this, if deletion is confirmed, we cannot access your payout details or send further payments.
To work around this situation, if you have any balance and want to delete your account, we will prompt you to contact support before deletion so we can pay you out in full.
