Google closed Google Podcasts in 2024 and made YouTube Music its podcast destination. There is nothing you need to do. This article is kept for reference.
What changed
- Google Podcasts is no longer one of the distribution options in your RSS.com dashboard.
- Your show is no longer available through Google Podcasts.
Reaching that audience instead
Two routes, and you can use both.
- Publish to YouTube from RSS.com. We turn your audio into video and send it to your channel. If your episodes have Podcasting 2.0 chapters, those carry across as chapter art, titles and timestamps.
- Add your podcast to YouTube Music directly, which is the route Google recommends.
Your distribution everywhere else is unaffected.
