When you upload cover art, RSS.com automatically makes it square and resizes it so it's stored at between 1600 and 3000 pixels. Smaller images are scaled up and very large images are scaled down, so your show looks right on every app.
If an image is too small to use, you'll be asked to upload a larger one before you can save.
Why do we resize it?
- Consistency: podcast apps expect square cover art within this size range, so your artwork displays correctly everywhere.
- Speed: right-sized images load faster for your listeners.
For the sharpest result, start with a large, high-quality square image (3000 x 3000 is ideal). You can upload a JPG or PNG up to 5 MB.
