Promo code and coupon mean the same thing at RSS.com. A code can take a percentage off a plan, or make it free for a set period. You apply it at checkout.
Important: the promo code field only appears when the billing option is set to Monthly. Switch to monthly before you look for it.
1. Open your Subscription page
Click the user icon at the top right and select Subscription. If you do not have an account yet, create one and verify your email address first.
2. Press Subscribe
3. Pick the plan your code applies to
Click Get started to go to the checkout.
4. At the checkout, switch to monthly billing
- Add your card details.
- Select Monthly billing. The promo code area only shows on monthly.
- Click Enter code.
5. Enter the code and apply it
Type the code and select Apply Promo Code. A green box confirms what the discount does.
Press Continue to finish the purchase.
6. Check it applied
Your Subscription page shows the plan and the active discount at any time.
Why a card is needed even at 100% off
Two reasons. A card on file deters spammers and keeps the platform clean. And if your code only runs for a limited time, having a card already saved means your podcast keeps publishing when the discount ends.
Your card is not charged while the code is active and valid.
