The greatest part of podcasting is the level of control a creator has over when their content is available, and where their content is available. As podcasters, we get to decide how our content gets accessed. Sometimes that means we want to remove our show from a podcast directory that we have already distributed to. Unfortunately, there is no way to stop distribution to a specific directory from your RSS.com account after you have already started distribution.
An RSS feed works by making your content available to any reader or directory. It is up to each directory to regularly monitor your feed for new episodes. When you set up distribution, you are telling that directory where to find and monitor your content.
The only way for us to cut off a directory's access to your feed, is to delete your feed. The other option is reaching out to directories individually and requesting they take down your podcast. Some directories have a way for you to remove your podcast yourself, and others require you contact their customer support. We have some Knowledge Base articles that can help you with removing your podcast from individual directories, but talking to a directory's customer service will usually work.
