How Do I Submit My Podcast to One or More Podcast Directories?

Modified on Tue, 06 Feb 2024 at 02:26 PM

Your RSS.com account is the home of your podcast, but you can distribute your show to any podcast directories you want to make it easier for listeners to find you! Before you can submit your podcast to any directories, you will need to set up your podcast and upload an episode. We allow you to set up your podcast and upload your first episode for free! Uploading additional episodes requires a subscription. Follow these walkthroughs to get started:

After you have set up your podcast and uploaded your first episode, you can use our Automatic and Guided Distribution to share your show with the world!

Automatic Distribution

Automatic distribution sets up your show on some of the largest podcast directories with a couple clicks!

  • Spotify
  • Samsung Podcast
  • Podcast Index
  • Apple Podcast
  • Listen Notes

To automatically publish your podcast to all the podcast's directories, a published episode and a custom cover art are required. Then access the "Distribution" section of your dashboard:

Turn on the switch inside the "Automatic submission" section

Read and accept the Amazon and Spotify Terms of Service, then click on "Continue"

Ready! Your podcast status will be shortly updated.

Guided Distribution

Some directories do not allow for automatic distribution of your show via the RSS.com control panel. You must follow the different steps for each directory in our Guided Distribution section to submit your show to these services.

In the "Guided distribution" section we explain step by step how to publish your podcast in the following directories:

How do I submit my RSS feed to Apple Podcasts?

How do I submit my podcast to Google Podcasts?

How do I submit my podcast to Pandora?

How do I submit my podcast to Tune In?

How do I submit my podcast to iHeartRadio?

How do I submit my podcast to Deezer?

Important: Some directories require an email address to be included in your RSS feed URL to be accepted. For security purposes, RSS.com normally does not include your email address in your feed. We do have a tool to temporarily include your email address when submitting to directories. Follow the instructions in How to enable the email address in the RSS feed to enable your email address.
