Why were my podcast's media files converted to mp3?

Modified on Mon, 6 May at 2:22 AM

At RSS.com we follow these guidelines and automatically encode all of your episodes to mp3 at 128kbps, 44.1kHz, stereo

Our encoding process assures your audio files are in full alignment with radio and music industry standards, including (but not limited to), the Apple audio requirements for podcasts creators.

If you would prefer that we not process your episodes, just upload them in mp3 format encoded at 128kbps and 44.1kHz, so your files will pass through our filters without any alteration.
