What is a podcast soundbite?

Modified on Fri, 17 Nov 2023 at 10:47 AM

Location tags, Soundbites, and TXT are advanced features that can be enabled under the "Settings" tab.

A podcast soundbite is a short preview taken from a podcast episode that highlights a specific section, topic, or quote. Soundbites can be used to promote new content and encourage your fans to check out a new episode. The intended use of soundbites includes episodes previews, discoverability, audiogram generation, episode highlights, etc.

As soundbites are a fairly new feature, they are not shown yet in major podcast directories like Apple Podcasts and Spotify, but will appear on your RSS.com public podcast website.
