Your podcast and episodes will be available immediately after publication on your RSS.com website. In order for your podcast to appear on other directories like Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon Music, and IHeartRadio, you will have to submit your show for distribution. Some podcast directories may take longer than others to approve your podcast. Wait times depend on many factors including the number of podcasts submitting to a directory at the same time. Approval usually happens somewhere between a few hours to a few days after submission, but can take up to a week in some cases.
To avoid delays and errors, you should validate your podcast feed before submitting it to any directories.
If you have not heard back from the platforms after a week, we suggest contacting their customer service team directly. Make sure to include your podcast feed in your correspondence. If you are concerned that something might be wrong with your feed or account, contact us, and we will make sure everything is set up properly.
