YouTube plays are not included on our Analytics Dashboard. Other podcast directories like Spotify and Apple Podcasts have to access a user's feed for episode data. We track where these requests are coming from, and share that data on the Analytics Dashboard.
YouTube is different because we are making a video copy to upload to the user's YouTube channel. We aren't hosting that version of the podcast episode on our site. Once uploaded to YouTube, we have no way of tracking plays of that video. Users can look at their YouTube account dashboard for plays and specific analytic data from their YouTube videos.
