How Do I Claim My RSS.com Feed on Spotify for Podcasters?

Our auto-submission tool allows you to submit your podcast to multiple directories like Spotify, Amazon, and Podcast Index without signing up and submitting separately. You can still choose to claim your show on a "Spotify for Podcasters" account to receive platform-specific show data. 

Follow the directions below to connect your Spotify for Podcasters account to your RSS.com feed!

Before you claim your podcast on Spotify

- Enable your email address on your RSS.com account by following the steps in "How to enable the email address in the RSS feed. Your email may take a few minutes to become visible. Once enabled, your email will be temporarily visible for 12 hours.

- Make sure you have already auto-submitted your podcast to Spotify from your RSS.com account

- Register for a regular Spotify account

Creating a "Spotify for Podcasters" account

If you already have a "Spotify for Podcasters" account, scroll down to Step 6:

1.Go to Spotify for Podcasters and click "Get Started"

2. Select "I have a podcast"

3. When asked where your podcast is hosted, click "Somewhere else."

4. You will be prompted to login to your regular Spotify account. If you don't have one, click the option to register.

5. Once logged in read and accept the Spotify for Podcasters Terms and Conditions

Connecting your RSS.com hosted podcast to your Spotify for Podcasters account

Users with existing "Spotify for Podcasters" accounts: You do not have to set up a new account. just click your name in the upper left-hand corner, and Select "Add or Claim your Podcast" 

6. Click "Get Started" on the welcome page.

7. Enter the link to your podcast's RSS feed in the appropriate field and hit "Enter." If your feed is verified, you will see a "looks good" message. Info about your show will appear on the right of the screen. Click "next" in the bottom right-hand corner.

8. Click "Send Code." Spotify will send an an 8 digit code to the email address you enabled on your RSS.com account. 

9. Retrieve the code from your email, enter it in the appropriate field, and press "Enter." You will see a verification message if the code is correct. Click "Next" in the bottom right-hand corner

10. Fill out the Language, Location, and Category questions and click "Next."

11. You will be asked to review your podcast information. If everything is correct, click "submit" in the bottom right-hand corner

12. You did it! You have successfully created a Spotify for Podcasters account, and connected your podcast to that account!
